“Anyone can become angry—that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose, and in the right way—this is not easy.”—Aristotle (via kari-shma)
I think some people get soaked up in love (with their significant other) that sometimes they forget about what really matters; not that the love that they’re in doesn’t matter, but what happened to all the love that was given to them before their significant other came along? For example, the love from their friends, family, God? They feel so lucky and get so excited to have that other love, that they forsake the love that they already had. Why must having someone as your significant other make you “the happiest person in the world?” Were you not content with your great friends or loving family or your whole support group that are there 100% of the time? I know that I’m not one to talk because I’ve never been in such a situation, like being “in love,” but I know that if ever I be in that situation, I would never make him any more important than those who’ve been in my life way longer, and that have loved me before he came around. There should always be a fair balance.
So, my point being is that, don’t change who you are when you fall in love. Your significant other should only be encouraging you to be the best of who you already are.
Man. This friendship or “not” friendship is seriously giving me headache. Are we friends? Are we not? This roller coaster of a friendship is not Disneyland at all. I don’t even like roller coasters! UGH! Can I permanently take you OUT of my memory and brain so that I don’t have to go through this anymore?! Please?
Day #7: A song that reminds you of a certain event- Million Dollar Bill | Whitney Houston
This song reminds me of NEW YEARS’ EVE 2009 going to 2010. That was probably the best NYE I EVER had in my life. I was with my family, as well as my second family. We laughed, screamed, cried.. it was an amazing night.
"And if he makes you feel like a million dollar bill say ‘OH! Oh, oh, oh!’ Say, "OH! Oh, oh, oh!"
